- For Sale:
-
- One (1) Only PP&S (Progressive Peripherals & Software)
- Amiga "FrameGrabber" complete with cables, power supply,
- and software.
-
- FrameGrabber is a black external box which connects to the
- Amiga's parallel port and monitor and lets you capture
- color or grayscale or monochrome images from still or moving
- video inputs. This means it has an NTSC composite-IN jack on
- it into which you can plug a video camera, camcorder, still
- video camera (Xapshot, Mavica, etc.), laserdisc player, a VCR;s
- outputs or a TV tuner.
-
- When you see something you want to grab on your monitor you
- hit one key and the image is grabbed and stored to memory
- or disk. Depending on the speed of your Amiga and the size
- of the image, you can also grab moving sequences for animations.
- FrameGrabber is *NOT* a slow-scan digitizer like Digiview or DCTV.
- It grabs instantly, in 1/30th of a second.
-
- Besides support from its included software, both ADPro 2.5 and
- ImageFX 2.1 (and perhaps other versions of both) include a
- FrameGrabber driver and both are even more full featured
- than the original software that comes with the unit. (ADPro and
- ImageFX are NOT included in this sale).
-
- The FG is in its original box.
-
- I'll ship it to anywhere in North America for US$200.00 prepaid.
- Or make me your best offer.
-
- Originally sold for hundreds more.
-
- This is a specially prepared FrameGrabber which was tweaked
- to the best possible specs by Oran J. Sands, former Video columnist
- for .info and other magazines.
